Last week the 3rd grade class received an extra Shabbat treat when they donned hard hats and took a special tour inside the Rodef Sholom construction project! Led by Marc Press, a longtime community member and Founding Principle Engineer at KPFF, the students walked through the future social hall, climbed the grand stairway to the sanctuary, and imagined what will soon be the outdoor garden kitchen and elegant courtyard. After months of watching (and hearing!) the demolition and construction from the classrooms, the tour was well-earned! We're looking forward to more tours of the temple as it gets closer to completion (tentatively scheduled for early 2024!). In the meantime, you can go behind the scenes by enjoying photos and videos from the little field trip below. What an incredible project to watch from the ground up!
