Space is a favorite topic in middle school science and 3rd grade! The 3rd grade recently started working on their space research projects, and had the opportunity to join the 7th grade during one of their hands-on space lessons with Mr. Seymour. It's hard to grasp the vastness of space, so the 7th grade created a scale "model" of our galaxy and laid it out in the courtyard to illustrate how far away the planets are from each other. The 7th and 3rd grades explored the final frontier together!
