8th Grade Science is currently working on a physics unit in which they are learning about projectile motion. The class began their studies by exploring projectile launchers throughout history and trajectory variables. Students are now creating their own launchers, which must hit two defined targets by adjusting various launch mechanisms. This week 8th grade invited their K/1st grade buddies to join them for a science lesson on Swig Field and the chance to test their launchers. It was the perfect activity for buddies of all ages!
