In Kindergarten's quest to explore the world of numbers and patterns, students were introduced to the concept of cardinality, the understanding that numbers represent quantity. We've been using various materials, including Unifix cubes, counters, and interlocking cubes to count, group, and arrange materials to explore numbers from 1 to 20. Next up: our mathematicians will begin to explore the tools to practice writing these numbers.
