little girl with lots of curly brown hair takes close look at sprouting seeds with magnifying glass

Project-based learning starts early at Brandeis Marin—even in kindergarten! Our youngest learners rolled up their sleeves to plant radish and beet seeds in individual cups, each creating their very own mini garden to care for. Through this hands-on project, students will observe how their plants grow, record their findings with notes and scientific drawings, and explore what living things need to thrive. It’s the perfect example of how curiosity, observation, and creativity come together—starting with our very youngest learners!
