We've been very busy hosting prospective families for some get-to-know Brandeis Marin lower school open houses! During the first event (The Magic of Kindergarten) we explored the campus, beaded fabulous necklaces, picnicked, and listened to stories read by our wonderful Kindergarten teachers Ashley and Sam. At last weekend's Lower School family workshop, we challenged families to a super fun 'egg drop' STEM project with Arie in the maker's lab! Our next two open houses are for families getting ready for middle school. On Sunday, November 17, we will host another family STEM challenge (rocket launching, anyone?), and on Wednesday, December 11, we will hold our annual All About Middle School night for 5th grade families. If you – or someone you know – are getting ready for middle school, these fun family workshops are for you – mark your calendars!
