Last week 3rd grade welcomed Brandeis alum Honor Henningsen ('14) for a visit. Honor is studying art and animation in college and after attending our recent Alumni Homecoming event, felt inspired to share her story and illustrations with the 3rd grade students  Along with leading the class in a step-by-step lesson on how they draw cartoon people, Honor shared which children's books inspired them and read Peanut Butter Rhino to the class. We had so much fun that we're planning to collaborate with Honor to illustrate a class story in the future - stay tuned!
