Last week, 2nd graders went on a field trip to the Guide Dogs for the Blind headquarters right here in San Rafael. Guide Dogs for the Blind (GDB) is a well-known non-profit organization that provides services for visually impaired individuals. We learned so much about the endless details and hard work that goes into training these extraordinary dogs and the people they work for! As a wonderful coincidental bonus, we were able to meet Marcia, an eager new trainee who also happens to be one of Noodle's puppies (Pamela's breeder guide dog!), and from the same litter that last year's 2nd graders provided 'M' names for!
