2nd graders have continued their exploration into habitats and organisms in science! The students focused on understanding the relationship between organisms and their habitats and identifying the adaptations that allow organisms to thrive. Their study gave them a better understanding of the importance of preserving ecosystems. As a culmination of their learning, the students created dioramas featuring their chosen habitat and the animals that live there, and then celebrated their achievement by showcasing their work to their kindergarten, 1st and 3rd grade friends this week.
