Social Emotional Learning
Social Emotional Learning is a highly integral component of a Brandeis Marin education. Each grade level, beginning in kindergarten, receives regularly scheduled lesson plans informed by the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) standards, utilizing evidence-based programming from Wayfinder, a program of Stanford’s d.school, to develop the social-emotional and executive function skills necessary for school and life success. Brandeis Marin students will improve their fluency in the five core competencies of SEL: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making.
