BYOD Laptop Program

BYOD at Brandeis Marin

Middle School students should arrive for the start of the Brandeis Marin school year with a family-owned laptop. Brandeis Marin's “BYOD” (Bring Your Own Device) laptop model empowers students and families to choose the tools that are most appropriate for them. Research has found that when students personalize their education, it accelerates their learning.

Please review the minimum required laptop specifications below, as well as the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) page for additional tips and guidelines.

While many students bring Macs and PCs to campus, Chromebooks are an affordable alternative as well. If the laptop requirement presents a financial hardship for your family, please contact Janet Lewis, Director of Finance at jlewis@brandeismarin.org to inquire about financial assistance.
