Welcome to Brandeis Marin!

After 30 years of being Brandeis Hillel Day School along with a sister school in San Francisco, we became Brandeis Marin, the first and only independent Jewish day school in Marin County.

We are a start-up with a long and rich history that dates back to our founding by a group of visionaries in 1978. Many on faculty here have devoted their entire careers to this institution. Many of our alumni now have kids walking our hallways. The wisdom and values of Judaism’s 3,000-year-old history are woven through the fiber of the every day, and our students are enriched by that tradition in ways large and small.

From that foundation, we’ve developed stellar academics, steeped in what matters. We’ve created a curriculum and culture like no other. We offer an education that is innovative, dynamic and progressive, focused on building learners who will be citizens of our community and our world.

Here at Brandeis Marin, we teach design thinking, robotics and coding. We are shaping 21st century learners using cutting edge teaching methods. We build character and self-awareness with compelling social and emotional programming. We make everyone a musician and artist with programs that inspire creativity for life. We create thoughtful leaders who know how to advocate for themselves and their world.

Children naturally look at the world with a sense of wonder and possibility and here at our school, that’s what leads the way. In partnership with our beloved faculty and parent community, we are dreaming together, building a future of innovation and meaning.

It’s a tremendous time at Brandeis Marin, and it is a privilege to be a part of this community. It’s really one of a kind.

I invite you to come on campus and take a look!
